Differences between fischertechnik Power Set 505283 and the older fischertechnik Energy Set 30182
The fischertechnik Power Set 505283
consists of a switched power supply in contrast to the conventional inductor power supply of the fischertechnik Energy Set 30182.
The new switched power supply is more efficient and has a higher tolerance of its input voltage and power frequency, so that it can be
used in different international power grids (i.e. USA 110V, 60 Hz versus 230V, 50Hz in most Europe)
The secondary outlet plug of the new switched power supply is smaller than the one of the Energy Set 30182. The corresponding plug of the power control unit
has been adapted accordingly. However the
fischertechnik ROBO TX Controller 500995
